Edit: I meant "Is my block clean enough" and it wont let me change it
I plan to do more cleaning in the cylinders and the coolant area, but is the surface of the block that touches the head gasket clean enough? If not, what I am doing now does not make it any cleaner, so how would I make it cleaner. would a razor blade or sandpaper work? Also, if my head (yes I mean head this time) has 0.005 of an inch gap at the edge, and 0.003 of an inch gap in the middle near the coolant holes, is this flat enough?
