Default Near side indicator bulb intermittent fault

Hello all. My 2002 V70 has an intermittent fault with the nearside indicator. The front bulb does not work, and the 'fast repeat' sound from the indicator stalk lets me know there is a problem. I change the bulb and all is well while the car is stationary. When I start driving, the bulb fails again, and the 'fast repeat' sound is back. On removal, the bulb appears to be fine, but changed it twice anyway - same problem. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yes - you have a bad socket. Have replaced many. The Volvo part comes with a new bulb also. (there are 2 different sockets. 2 or 3 terminal - make sure you get the correct one for your market.)

That's great - Thank you! I will check the terminals and get one on order.

All the best, Paul
