Been racking my brains for a while now, and final needed to ask for help. My MK2 V70 has had an intermittent problem with when selecting reverse the car picking and choosing when it wants to "beep". And the last week it stopped completely.
No warning lights or faults on ECU which lead me to think it was an audio issue....but where are the speakers for the Beep? As I have replaced all speakers over recent months (even the ones in the boot pillars) any help much appreciated

For anyone else who has this problem in future check the rear left panel (fuse box panel) In the boot I had a red rocker switch in there which was sitting in the off position. Which I must have knocked to off while working in some amps.

That's good. My reverse sensors are silent and sometimes barely audible. I haven't been near any panels but I'll take a look .
