Default Shaking and noise on cold start

Hello. My 2001 v70 T5 2.3 blew the intake cam seal a short while ago (PCV was serviced completely 4 months prior), lost 3.3L of oil according to the mechanic shop (most of it leaked out while the car was parked and shut off I think). I had them change the seals and the timing belt etc. since they were covered in oil.
After the job was complete after a long wait, the car shaked violently at idle when the engine was warmed up. I took the car back and they adjusted the timing.

Now the car shakes and makes a slight grinding noise when you start it up after it has sat overnight. The vibration is similiar to the previous one, but only lasts a couple of seconds on cold starts.
I took the car back yet again and they insisted that the camshaft pulley is shot, and they refuse taking any responsibility. The car did not have any problems of this nature before the seals blew/timing belt service.

Any opinions? What should I do?
Thank you in advance.

Seems you should find an accountable mechanic that specializes in Volvos. If the timing gear is "shot", timing belt change should not be attempted.

+1. Cam seals generally don't just blow out on their own. Common causes are positive PCV pressure or VVT gear issues. Sounds like the gear was bad to begin with and caused the oil leak.
