This feels like a really dumb question.. I can hardly see the speedo and RPM needles at night time even when the cluster lights are turned up to max.

Are the red needles supposed to be hard to see in the dark?? Should they self-light via a light from within the spindle or are they reflective of the light at the top of the cluster?
