speedometer/odometer change, what will be the mileage?

speedometer/odometer change, what will be the mileage?
Hi folks,
Will change the 05´ V70 speedometer to another used one.
Do anyone know what will be the "new" mileage? If the "new" speedo have higher mileage do it show in the speedo or will the old one "the original" mileage still be shown?
