Srs - airbag service
I got this message on my volvo after i have had the dash apart, did take my indstrument cluster out, and got this message after, my airbag light goes out after after some sec so my airbag should work..
so is this message on the info display because i had the speedo cluster out off the car??

Agree with Tony1963. The warning light is saying an OBD2 code has been set - (did you disconnect the battery before working on the cluster?) Note that not all code readers handle the OBD2 "chassis" codes (different set from power train P codes) for all makes and models so its probably best to have a Volvo friendly shop scan and clear the codes for you. If there was a truly failed component, the code will just reset. You may also want to check with a local big box auto parts store to see if they will scan and clear codes. If you plan on doing regular work on you Volvo, you may even want to consider checking out Ebay and buy your own VIDA DICE unit ($100 or so)
