Recently removed the Air control panel to replace tiny bulbs behind the unit. i then plug the three connectors back on and replaced the unit back in the centre counsel. Now i have no lights and nothing is working on the counsel and the SRS light is also on now, i have checked the fuses only to find them ok. Any information would be of great help.

Usually that happens because torn sensor.
You need try to restore sensor or update software in the CCM to make it alive (new software have workaround for such case)

 

Thanks Doublebug. I learnt my first lesson as a Volvo owner, which is "don't unplug electric plugs". I should have done my homework first as now I have to sort out how to get my Climate control panel up and working...
