When I got this V70 the sunroof was taped shut. The previous owner said it didn't work. The driver side rear of the sunroof was lower than the passenger side. When I try to open or close it I hear a popping noise in the area of the motor like the gears are stripped. Is the sunroof mechanism fixable and would I have to pull the headliner to make repairs such as replacing the cables?
