Front Axle Seal Leak after replacement

2001 V70 XC AWD 188k

Anyone have any final resolve regarding repair of the driver side (left) front axle seal leaking trans fluid? replaced seal twice with OEM at dealership, still leaks.
I saw a post with no final mention of fix.....

There's a big difference between the left one and the right one.

it would be the driver side (left) front axle seal.

I've never had one of these leak. The seal, however, is dirt simple to install. Just make sure that you don't install it too far in.

Are you absolutely sure that it is leaking at the seal?

Try cleaning up the axle end with a bit of emory cloth.
