V70 new Bosch fuel pump whine, same as old one.
Hello, greetings from Poland.
I have a strange mystery to solve, in my Volvo V70 2.0t 2006,
(Chassis 595+) last year old genuine fuel pump started to wine, so I replaced the pump for new one, made by Bosch same as original.
Unfortunately it did not solve my problem with loud winning under the car.
I found some cases on forums. It might be fuel pressure regulator or fuel pressure sensor, unfortunately I wasn't able to find neither of them in my car.
I checked fuel rail, without cover. No any sensors.
Fuel filter is new.
Car drives ok I guess, problem is noise.
Whine is constant, since I start the car till I turn it off, when voltage changes, winning changes for a second too.
No matter how much fuel in tank, noise is from new pump, 100%.
Have no clue, where to look further.
Any advices would be great.
Cheers.
