Default V70 t5 cluster and climate issue

Hi, newbie to the forum but not volvo ownership I currently have a 2001 v70 t5 manual that I've owned for a trouble free 4yrs but recently I've lost power intermittently to the cluster and climate control/interior fans then they went dead completely, at first I thought it was the cluster so that was sent away and tested and found to be fault free the fault codes I'm getting are CEM-1A55 and CEM-1A56 no power to Dim or ccm now all this happened after the pollen filter was removed as it wasn't allowing much airflow due to being past its sell by date now I've checked all around that area to see if I've knocked anything but to no avail and plus if I did why was it intermittent before going completely dead? Any ideas where I should look first and where are the relevant fuses/relays that might be causing this issue? Sorry for the long winded post but it's getting me down now.

Default Experiencing Similar Issues

I've been experiencing similar problems with my 04 V70 apparently its very common in the P2's. My cluster will go out along with my windows, door locks, and turn signals sometimes the whole car will jerk while the cluster turns on and off until it dies. I've read that contact cleaner on the TCM and ECM helped someone, then there's also the CEM which overheats.
