Default Water in the rear Red lights.

Hi,

Have a 2002 V70 station wagon. Non turbo.

With the rain, I noticed that I have water accumulating in the Rear Red lights (2nd lights from the top) which causes of course the bulbs to burn out (Short out). This is on both sides.

Where is the water coming from, does it leak in through the rear gate/door?

Anyone else had this issue ? What is the fix ?

Thank you.

check for any cracks to the lens including around the retaining screws/clips. You can replace the seal for a modest sum

sample from dealer web store: https://www.volvowholesalepartsdirec.../30674782.html )

You can also check the weather stripping around the tailgate was well to make sure its intact as well.

Removed one of the Leneses and there are no seals. These seals (4 of them) are not exactly cheap.

Here's part numbers for the seals (#3 and #10). Note the VIN break.
