Default Windshield washer hose

Yesterday, I had the struggle of my life (okay, that's an exaggeration) to change the right front parking lamp.

When I was finished, I noticed that there was a loose hose that looked to be part of the washer system. It looks like the other end of it is connected to the top of the washer fluid reservoir.

Is this free end supposed to attach to something? I'd hate to think that I'm squirting blue liquid someplace that it isn't supposed to go.

Oh, I how I long for the days when you could work under the hood of a car without having to stick your hands into places not designed for hands to go.

Default Figured it out

Figured it out. Found some parts diagrams on-line and deduced that it is the vent for the reservoir.
