New to thread and Volvo’s in general.

While driving The vehicle lacked power on takeoff and stumbled on acceleration and throughout drive. Heard a whining noise at one point and pulled over. Didn’t see any leaks and fluids seem fine. After about an hour of driving the vehicle began to smoke from exhaust. Did I just screw it up entirely?

Now: excessive smoke from exhaust on starting and while driving every time. Blown head gasket? Turbo?

Any tests I can perform? Engine oil is about a quart low now whereas it was fine prior to driving. Parked in garage and no leaks on ground.

I know very little about Volvo’s and can’t seem to find much information or videos. Heck the vehicle doesn’t even have a owners manual in glove compartment.

Please help?!?!
