2004 Volvo XC70 transmission fluid
your car should use JWS3309 or Toyota T-IV for the 5 speed Aisin automatic transmission. the AWD uses a haldex fluid. You can find kits on FCP Euro or IPD USA's web site. As a general tip, you can also find the OEM oil part number (ie Volvo 1161540 etc) on a Volvo Dealer web store site and then use that to google for compatible after-market brands. When in doubt, you can check for a part # reference in your owners manual for all the various fluids.

your 04 with the 5 cyl engine has the Aisin transmission and uses ONLY the type of fluid previously mentioned. Aisin also sells that fluid in their branded bottles. When I was purchasing it for my shop I was able to get the best deal from Toyota for the Type IV fluid.
