Default 2004 XC70 passenger door electrical

I just purchased a 2004 XC70 with a few electrical problems, all in the front passenger door:

* dash shows "passenger door open"
* window won't go up or down from either passenger or driver's switch
* door lock button does nothing, BUT the door lock DOES respond to being locked/unlocked from driver's door.
* electric mirror does not respond

I'm going to pick up a manual and wiring diagram, but thought I'd go ahead and ask beforehand if there's anything that sticks out as being the common denominator for all that... I just glanced at the harness as it passes from frame to door and didn't see any obvious damage.

It just seems odd that so many systems on the same door would have issues.

Hi

If I recall fuse 36 powers the right-side door module, check that first.

I could have sworn I replied to this, lol...

Problem turned out to be non-electrical, in a sense.

The plastic pivot points for the window mechanism had broken. As a "fix", they rigged the window in the closed position, then unplugged the door control module.

A couple of bucks in new plastic bits... plugged it all back in... done.

I don't have the car yet but will be picking it up in 2 weeks. I drove it last week and it has a similar problem on the passenger door lock.

When I try to lock it remotely it makes this funny sound like its trying to lock. Not sure what the problem is but I plan to open it up when I get the car.

Does the same thing happen with the manual lock/unlock button on the driver's door?

Does the lock move ok when you physically move it up and down?

I don't recall if the lock button operates manually. If so, what does it mean?
