2004 XC70 rear right door stuck

My rear right door won't open neither from the inside nor the outside. I've tried almost everything but I just can't seem to open. Anyone know why?

Could be the latch assembly thinks it is locked - due to a bad latch assembly. Or the child lock is on and the outer door handle is broken.
