2007 XC70 headlight bulb replacement

Changing these headlight bulbs seems impossible. I can't get to the bulbs. Anyone have any instructions for me before I trash this car. Changing bulbs should NOT be this difficult!

For the left one, removing the airbox can make it easier. The right one is harder though.
