2008 with 122k, when in higher gear and climbing a moderate incline, before tranny downshifts to grab a lower gear it will flutter/shudder. If I give it more gas (kind of punch it) it will downshift cleanly without hesitation, but if I just ease on the gas as the hill begins, the car shudders as if it’s not grabbing the lower gear cleanly. There is no flare or banging on the shift. Tranny otherwise is butter smooth. Fluid is pretty fresh and level good. Any thoughts?
