New to the Volvo world. Just purchased a 2006 xc70 127000 miles super clean nice car. Look to have been well maintained. I have no service records on it so not sure what has or hasn't been done. Any ideas on things to look for or things that I should do would be greatly appreciated. I have noticed on a wet road if you pull out and get on it hard it will spin the front tires for just a second and then I'll hear a slight bang in the drive train and then it takes off hard. Shouldn't that be a very smooth transition from power from the front to the rear. Like I said this is the first volvo I have ever been around (they are not that popular in East tn) have a lot of mechanical experience so not afraid to take on most projects. From years of experience in have learned ( none of us is as smart as all of us). So I really like turning to communities that have been there done that. Thanks for your time and help.
