Hi,

I have a 2015 XC70 and am contemplating getting a cargo trailer. I think the 6 x 12 footer will be plenty big for what I want it for. They go about 1,200 pounds or so and the XC70 supposedly has a max hauling rating of 3500.

Question: Will I be causing any damage at all to the transmission or car in general, if I haul this around within the recommended limits?

As long as you don't haul the combine weigh over the limited you be fine, but don't step on tge gas like an angry bird at the Red light.
