Default dealer or tranny specialist

06 CX70 with 80k tranny is jumping when going from reverse to drive after the car has warmed up a while . . . am I nuts to have it looked at again, dealer said it was fine when the changed the tranny oil a month ago . . . .

First I am going to assume you mean an XC70 rather than a CX70 since I don't know of a CX unless it is outside of the USA.

Neither is a great option. The dealer is expensive as he!! and inclined to recommend a complete new or reman trans rather than fix just what needs fixed. Indy trans shops don't know much about Volvo's because they don't see them much. As long as there is not slipping you most likely have something that is solenoid/valve body related, at least that has been my experience with other transmissions exhibiting similar symptoms.
