Hello Volvo guys,
I've been searching for a problem for a few days, maybe someone will save me some time with a little help.. Volvo XC70, 2007y., 2.5t.
Front driver side 2 speakers doesn't work - fuses are good, speakers tested with multimeter, but I changed one cuz it looked crappy, still no luck..
A car has Motorola IHF1000 bluetooth hands-free system - buttons lights up, but no sound at all, only reacts on middle button (speakers muted after press).
My opinion - this is one problem because of Motorola bluetooth system, someone said that a problem is with "mute" box, but I can't find it.. I found Motorola ECU , all the wires behind radio, checked everything, even fuses, everything looks perfect..
Maybe someone had similar problems? It so annoying to ride without front side speakers..
Radio HU-650 with integrated amplifier.
Thanks!

When I was installing bluetooth systems in those cars I used a special harness (whenever possible) to connect between the car and the bluetooth module. It plugs in series between the tuner and the factory wiring and as you said mutes and transfers audio from telephone. The harnesses use the factory style connectors - so they look and fit like factory - here's a sample photo I found of one for a Volvo and a Parrot bluetooth kit. If you find one - just take it out and plug things where they originally went. (the gray and the green female plugs)

It was so simple as you said, and it worked! Speakers works perfect now . I have temporary disconnected Motorola cables and I found a mute box around the wires, funny thing, that box number says it's "Driver seat control unit" , but it came directly from Motorola ECU . The housing of it cracked, so I'll try to open it to see whats inside.
As you worked with these systems, maybe you know the "real" code of this control unit? I don't understand why its says driver seat ecu :s
Thank you friend .
Opened control unit looks like in photo. Too bad I can't open it more, all components are glued.. Everything looks nice, but I think still this unit will be faulty.
