Yesterday I had both front wheel axles replaced on my 2001 XC70 due to a bad vibration. Now my transmission is slipping and once in awhile I get a whining noise that lasts about five seconds. Could the axles be causing a transmission slip or am I looking at yet another problem? My wife just called and said when she was coming out of the store parking lot the car felt like it was on ice then it caught and was OK.
Just called again and said she put the car in Park and the car rolled forward. Somehow I think this is all connected. Any thoughts out there?
