Need advice for front CV axles (XC-70, AWD 2.4 turbo, 2001)
If you have advice on aftermarket CV axles, please advise me. Right now, it looks rather bleak aside from buying OEM for a rather high price.
1. What's the best price on OEM CV axles and...
2. would any of you recommend --any-- aftermarket stuff?
---The only recommendations I have thus far are: Autopart International brand and Raxles. I've heard FEQ, GSP, Duralast, etc. etc. are all very risky or just junk.
3. any other options? I don't suppose buying ball bearings and re-building the existing CV axle is a good idea unless I know someone with a machine shop and plenty of technical know-how. Just a guess.
