Full Tank shows Half Full on Fuel Gage
Car is a 2002 Volvo XC70. When filling with gas, fuel is put in until it can hold no more. When the car is turned on, the gage shows half full. Driving the car, the tank goes from half full to empty in a "normal" pattern, but when the gage says empty, the car can only handle about half the fuel capacity of the tank before it is full again. One other similar incident was found on this forum. It was https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-...lf-full-43074/.
In that forum thread, it was stated that a scanner could be used to determine which sending unit of the two sending units is bad. Since I have VIDA DICE, I believe I should be able to scan and determine which fuel sending unit is bad (driver's side or passenger side). However, after a couple of hours of looking at VIDA DICE, I could not locate where that feature might be. Does anyone have any clues on how I could use VIDA DICE to make this determination?
