Is there a way to set the headlights so they do not automatically come on each time you start the car? I was told there was not.

It's a good feature, why do you want to disable it?

 

You can do it in VIDA with the diagnostic tool. I too hate not being able to control whether my lights are on or off, that's why there's a damn switch.

You can also have the dealer turn them off for you unless you're in Canada.
