Default Routine Service Question...

We purchased a 2004 XC70 with just under 200,000 miles on it. We've now surpassed the 202,500 mark and are due for routine maintenance.

Does anyone have any idea (since the manual says to refer to our dealer after 150,000 miles) what services are due at this mileage for this vehicle?

Hello, It depends on what's been done and when. You put a bit over 2,500 miles on your car. Had the oil been changed 3,000 or 4,000 miles before the sale? Has the transmissions sump ever been drained? Remember, many feel the transmission fluid is never to be changed. Those people are wrong. Is the power steering fluid black yet? Without a record of maintenance you should give everything a careful look. Has the brake fluid ever been flushed? Have the door hinges ever been lubed? Did you inspect the engine mounts? I'd do a compression check. Check everything. Kira
