Hi guys the routine maintenance message is coming on when I turn the ignition on the car has 6000 miles before the service is due does anyone know how to extinguish the message thanks

 

So I did what any independant person would do and performed a forum search using the term "clear service message". And wouldn't you know it! I came up with this:
