Default Serpentine Belt Not Turning

I have an 08 C70. Yesterday I hit a piece of a tire in the road. It ripped off half of the plastic piece that runs under the front bumper. When i got home there was a power system warning message and the generator light was on. I thought the serpentine belt had broken but it was still intact when I popped the hood. I reached in and the belt turned easily and freely by hand which I thought was odd. It did not seem loose. I started the car and the belt is not turning while the engine is running. I am not a mechanic so any ideas would be helpful.

There are two drive belts. One from the crank to the AC compressor and then one from the AC compressor to the alternator. Sounds like your crank to AC belt is gone .

I am ignorant no more!! Thanks, that is exactly the problem. Now if anyone knows of a child mechanic cause there ain't no way I'm getting my fat adult hands down in there to be able to put on a new one.
Thanks again!

Its actually really easy. Remove the wheel and the fender liner and the tensioner is right there.

You're lucky pieces of it didn't get sucked into the timing cover amd bend all your valves.

Yep, looks like a catalog error.

Glad to see I am sane, although most of my friends and family would debate that.
Called Volvo dealership and they weren't sure which one I needed.
Getting one from a local auto parts store that assures me it is the right one.
Thanks again for your help. I am going to try to knock it out Saturday.
