Substitution of B5244T3 with B5234T3 one on Volvo XC70

Substitution of B5244T3 with B5234T3 one on Volvo XC70
Hello,
I was cheated by a car seller last week. So, the engine B5244T3 in my 'brand new-old' 2002 Volvo V70XC died (the fifth cylinder piston connection rod came out through the engine wall) after 120 km calm driving. I found a second hand engine B5234T3 (T5) in good condition. The car is equipped with manual gear box.
Will a B5234T3 swap B5244T3? And also, can B5244T3 ECU drive B5234T3 engine, or I have to replace it also?
