Trouble with restart
have a 2019 xc70 that increasing won’t restart after running. After a few minutes (up to 10), it will restart. Dealer ran diagnostics and found nothing two separate times, though I doubt they are driving it before checking. Getting to the point of being that dreaded stalled vehicle at the gas pump. Any thoughts?
Won't restart how?
Not cranking? Have power in the car, IE the dash is lighting up? Cranking but not starting?
Only do it after fueling?
When it starts how does the engine run? Normally? Chugging like it is flooded?

The ignition cranks fine but the engine doesn't turn over. Battery has been replaced by dealer and is ok. Happens after any driving, not just when refueling. The dash lights don't indicate anything. The engine runs fine once going.
Ok I'm confused - cranking means the engine turns over - so if the engine turns over and doesn't fire up is a warm start problem (probably fuel mixture related). If nothing happens when you turn the key to the start position (ie no sound of the engine turning over, you may have an ignition swith issue, a PNP switch issue, a cabling issue (battery/ground/starter) or a starter motor/solenoid issue. Any other noises or warning lights? If it happens again and you have no sound of the engine turning over, try wiggling the key when starting. Also try doing a shifter row - moving the shifter from Park to Lo to Park 10x fast and make sure the shifter button is popped out, then try again (the Park Neutral Position switch ("PNP") may be indicating the shifter is not in Park thus locking out the ignition.
