Hey,

Im starting to look around for a nice 122s to use as a daily driver. I live in Northern NJ, and was wondering how everyone one else was fairing as far as parts go. God forbid something goes wrong, but its more of a manner of when not if with any car. Are there a lot of parts available for these cars? Where do you guys generally get yours? And price wise are they fair? I’m not looking for el cheapo parts but as long as its not sky high that’d be a big relief.

Not only does IPD still have lots of parts for 122s and 544s, but the engine from those lovely machines lived on in other cars until 1977. Around here they seem to be going for $800 to $2500, I see them on the road all the time.

 

Well thats great, I see them going for a little bit more here in Northern New Jersey.. ball park of 3900 for a nicely restored one but without the show car status. which is what im looking for, something clean, decent mechanical shape and is a strong runner.
