hello from pittsburgh..67 122s
about 2 hours ago I bought a 67 122s red two door sedan, almost identical to the one I bought in 1970 and was driving when my wife and I got married in 1974. It's been sitting for 7 years and was brought to PA from Colorado so the rust is not bad at all. Need to get it running and stopping and am hoping someone will chip in some advice as to what to do first? remove gas tank? flush? dump some gas in and try to start???
I'm also into Fords now, mainly the mid eighties svo mustangs and the early 90's SHO yamaha powered tauruses ( I have a wagon that's been converted to sho specs).

RE: hello from pittsburgh..67 122s
Make sure you crank it good without fuel or spark first to make sure you have good oil pressure. Then I would try to run fresh gas into the Carb. Then make sure it runs ok. Depending on whether it was setup correctly before storage you might have to remove the carb and clean/rebuild.
Hopefully things go well keep us posted.
Do you have any pics of it?
