I am building a 444 for the LaCarrera. I can have any disk brake system, any differential, any 4 speed gearbox and the largest engine produced in 1965 (1800, does not have to be a 1965). My question(s) are:
Will the front suspension assembly from a 122, P1800 or 140 bolt into the 444?
Will the differential assembly from a 122, P1800 or 140 bolt into the 444?
Is the 1800 engine interchangable with the 1400 444 engine?
What are the widest wheels and tires that fit the 444? I must stay with 15" diameter and 6" wide. The smallest series is 60. I have heard that Ford (truck?) wheels fit Volvo's.
