Hello forum.Does anyone have a fix for erasing the dreaded P0733 code.I have flushed the fluid out ( 2 gallons).The flashing is gone.Ive tried erasing them but the code resets after 1 min.when restarted. I just need it off so I can smog it. Runs fine.just need it gone..

 

runs fine may not be the same as what the code is telling you. P0733 is saying the transmission is slipping (ie the input/output speed readings are out of spec). You can try doing a 2nd or 3rd flush then drive lightly to get emissions, but it sounds like your transmission may need servicing (unless there's a sensor/wiring issue - but there I'd expect other codes to present as well). Any other symptoms or codes? Like with all the 850s, you can also try the shifter row in case there's something up with the PNP sensor then reset the code to see if it returns.
