Bottom end exchange
Does anyone know if you can replace the bottom end of a 1990 740 GLE Twin cam 16 valve ? I thought I read somewhere that the sensor or another part must also be part of the exchange. Anyone know this car?

The 16 Valve lock is different from the B230 engine. You whould have to find a 16 Valve Block.
Why do you want to replace it? I though you said the compression is good?
