Want to add A/C to my 1973 145 Volvo. Noticed a picture of the new style (round type) with a different adaptor that is different than the mount for a York Compressor. 3 Questions.... 1. Where can I find that style compressor and mount. 2. does the new style compressor make it difficult to replace the #1 spark plug? 3. In the event that the #2 question is negative, where can I buy a York mount. Thanks.

 

have you searched car-parts.com to find a local yard with a donor or looked through Craig's list? The problem with retro fitting AC to an old car is they were designed for R12 (R134 came to marked in the early 90s) so finding a charge may be difficult or expensive.
