how do you reset check engine light fot a 95 vlovo 960 with OBD-1 SOCKET SYS.

 

This light comes ON to report a possible problem with your transmission, or engine. (The transmission switch in my 96 Volvo 960 needed replacement.).
To diagnose the exact cause, mechanics insert a connector onto a socket located next to your parking brake handle, just above the seat worm switches.
To reset the light, I think you need to do it electronically, by inserting the diganostic tool and reset it.
