I know how to change the bulbs in the cluster of a 240 but I now have a 89 740 and was curious if I could just reach around under the dash and change them or if I had to remove the cluster to get to it. The particular bulb which is out is located behind the temp guage in my cluster</P>

if you can remove the kick panel under the console then you can probably replace the light without removing the cluster. when in doubt though, i just remove the cluster.
