Need dead oxygen sensor in cat. 240
Have to replac cat. New one has big threaded hole for oxygen sensor. Not needed as my oxygen sensor is not in cat.
Does anyone have dead one? Need to fill screw hole in cat. Can't find any bolt, etc. to fit hole. Maybe weld shut?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the size. Looking for old/dead one to fit in hole in new cat. My Oxygen sensor is not mounted in cat.
Trying to find old one to block big hole where sensor screws into. Have not been able to find correct size bolt at any auto/hardware store or Fastenall, store dedicated to fasteners. Maybe another outlet. Or is welding a possibility?
TY

You could have it welded but it may cost more than the $3.50 +shipping for the plug.
Here's the same plug from Advanced Auto.

Plug cat. Stuck Hood
Wildman, thanks for the plug idea!
Have unusual problem opening hood, I CAN'T open it. The latch mechanism works fine. But the very end of main closure unit won't go through hole.
opens normally to a point, but very end will not budge. Used a jack on screwdriver, the very end is slotted. Lifted up on hoodlatch, which did not release/go through & whole car went up, but no go. Wow.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Hoodoobash
