Hey guys,

I just picked up my first Volvo, a 1999 C70 Coupe 2.5l with the premium sound sysyem including the center dash speaker. SC-901 unit.

Right off the bat with the car I plan on ditching the SC-901 and installing an iPhone friendly head unit like in my previous car.

I've done some research but here are a few of my questions:

1. Is there anyway I can still keep the center speaker with the new head unit? Easiest way possible of doing that? Becuase i read that the center speaker is actually hard wired to the SC-901 for power.

2. Does the new headunit have to have 3 sets of preouts (front, rear, sub) for the factory amp to connect to it via the DIN-RCA wire? I know I need a DIN-RCA but I've seen some cables that are just DIN-one set of RCAs then other DIN-2 sets of RCAs. Which one do I need?

If someone could help me out with these questions I would really appreciate it!
