Default factory radio took a crap

I disconnected the battery to do some work under the hood only to find out after my radio won't work....well the screen says EEEEE , you can tell at full volume it's on but can't change stations or anything....do you have to reprogram it after disconnecting battery or what?

There is a radio code that you have to put in to be able to use the radio again. Cal your local Volvo dealership and give them your VIN# and they will give you your radio code.

yea you need to get a code from your local dealer for your car...its a safety issue which helps in case your stereo was ever stolen...just dont screw up your code to put in your you'll have to run your battery down for 2 hours just to restart the error code...the stereo locks after 3 or 4 tries...
