Default Factory sub and aftermarket HU?

Hello all,
I have a 99 S70 with a factory sub in it. My sc-901 HU is going south on me and I need to replace it. I am looking at a Koss MS2015 deck to replace it with, maybe something else... not sure. But my question is this, If I use an aftermarket HU, can I continue to use the factory amp or will I have to replace that as well. I do not want a rattle the windows kind of system, but I want a crisp clean sound, so that Mozart sounds just as good as eminem. I also will be replaceing the factory speakers not too far down the road. I jsut have not decided what with yet.

Thanks,
Randy

You can keep the factory amp but you will have to add an adapter. An RCA to 6 pin DIN cable. You can find them on ebay for about $30 including shipping.

Awesome deal!! However, I managed to fix my head unit today. It was just a blown resistor. So now I am just looking at a few new speakers and a better way of hooking up my MP3 Player. I am thinking about wiring a stereo jack right to the left and right inputs on the HU.
