I got a buddy with some Clifford keyless entry /remote starts kits from clifford. since I have no key fobs I might as well get a better set of remotes if I am going to need to spend the money anyhow.

guy I am getting it from says it didnt appear to need a spare key in a rf transponder box.

is that true or not?

I really need to get something done about not having remotes and I am not paying the kind of money they want for the oem junk and then having to pay the rip off dealer.
