Here are some pictures of my iPad mini dash kit. The iPad mini kit sits where the factory radio used to be. All audio is controlled via bluetooth keeping the kit completely wireless. The iPad mini itself is secured by magnets at the top of the dash kit and is removable by pushing in on the bottom of the iPad.

Yeah. Its a Metra dash kit cut out and fiberglassed to fit an ipad mini. The iPad sits completely flush. The original fiberglass pan was formed with an actual ipad so the fitment is perfect. I used a smart cover magnet and fiberglassed that in with the pan so the ipad is magnetically connected to the side of the ipad ensuring it wont fall out. I filled in all the small imperfections with body filler and sanded it smooth to look like it was meant to go there. The panel is currently only primered.
