Default need help with amp install

first off just bought an 04 S60 R monday. wanting to put my components from my old car in it *kicker solo baric L7 10 in a kicker bandpass box and a kicker SX 400.2 amp* I'd like to put my alpine headunit in too...but no way I'd hack up that beautiful dash.first offI assumed there's no RCA's on the back of the factory headunit.
I've bought a unit that will allow me to tap the speaker wires at the back and add RCA's for the amp, power and ground are obvious, where can I get my remote from though. the only thing I can think of is the back headrest popper thing. is this a good idea? are there better places to get a remote signal from? also, what kind of sound quality can I expect through this method. never done it this way, always wired the amp in through the headunit.
. thanks in advance

I'd bet money there was some kind of remote wire you could jump coming from the factory harness....but since you're not interested in taking appart your dash (and I can't suggest otherwise...I have no idea how hard an S60 dash is to get appart.) then all you're really looking for is 12 volt signal....I don't know if there's enough voltage coming form the head rest....test it and see. If you'd rather not chance burning out the motor and or fuse for the head rest then run a wire from your fuse box. The cigarette lighter fuse will work.

i am trying to hook up a sub too... but the back of the radio seems really confusing, i dont want to have to cut wires and then ruin the whole thing by accident...

anyone know of a hookup that can go on the back of the radio that can be hooked up with the sub?
