Default Speaker Crackling/Vibrating too much

I have a strange issue with one of my speakers, like it sounds pretty good but sometimes when I play something that makes the cone vibrate like crazy** it starts to sound like the cone is lose or something like that. I can literally take my hand sometimes and run around the edge and reduce this crackling/cracking sound.

(The sound is like cracking/crackling of blown speakers but it only occurs when the cone reverberates very quickly.)

**It doesn't matter if the sound is that loud, it can be at a moderate level and it will make the speakers crackle sometimes.

The cones on older Volvo speakers are some kind of wierd paper composit with a metal ring around the interior of the cone. If you blow one of them you won't really notice unit you hit certain frequecys or rythem paterns....kind of wierd. Sometimes that metal ring partial separates from the the cone and it sounds like that.

Volvo speakers are exspensive to replace. I honestly suggest going aftermarket.

No. This IS an aftermarket speaker I'm talking about. A Kenwood speaker.

hmm.....check the mounting and make sure it isn't ratling against itself. If it's tightened down hard but without a rubber gasket of somekind it can vibrate at the resonant frequency of whatever you've got it screwed into AND whatever you've got it screwed with. If that isn't it, check the cover and make sure it's tight for the same reasons. If that still doesn't work, check the connection to the speaker. Sometimes they get loose and rattle in their harness...never quite dislodging themselves but rattling enough to cause feedback. If THAT isn't it...then you may have blown it my friend...
