You can find the right gap for your manual or from where you purchased the plugs (ie, Autozone, Advance Auto, NAPA, NOPI, etc)

They can pull it off their computers.

We always set them at .30 but if you ask REG. he will tell you to go a little bigger on the gap. It will burn a little hotter and work better. .34 will be fine.

Did I just do wrong then Tech?

I just today changed the plugs and wires (didn't cure the intermittent misfire), and the manual said set at .028, was I wrong to do this?

28-30 is factory specs. You can go a little bigger if you want it is up to you.

Well I'll worry about getting the problem sorted and then go back to gaps.

Thanks!!!

Having the gap too big may cause problems under boost. The spark may get blown out.
